Looking unto Jesus
“but when
he saw the wind boisterious, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried,
saying, lord, save me” Matt 14:30
From verse 23 it talks about Jesus walking on
water.
If we examine closely, we will find out that in
verse 28 and 29 peter told
Jesus if it was really him let him bid(tell) him(peter) to come and Jesus did. So when he Was coming out He had his eyes on Jesus, he was focused on Him and he concentrated on Him. But something happened. Yea something not right.
Jesus if it was really him let him bid(tell) him(peter) to come and Jesus did. So when he Was coming out He had his eyes on Jesus, he was focused on Him and he concentrated on Him. But something happened. Yea something not right.
“but when
he saw the wind boisterious, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried,
saying, lord, save me”(KJV matt 14:30)
How come that He (peter) was able to see the boisterious
wind?
why was he
afraid?
why did he
sink?
Let me tell you why
Simply because he lost focus in Jesus, he lost
concentration he began accessing the situation he found himself.
But after that something happened in verse 31
“and
immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him,
O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”
The bible says immediately Jesus stretched forth
his hand and caught him.
The bible didn’t say He let struggle for a while
before He caught him.
You know how people call 911 when they have
emergencies and it takes like 5-10 minutes sometimes 15 before they respond.
Well that’s not the same with Jesus you call on
him, He answers you ‘immediately’
But remember you have to focus on him.
He wants us to know that He is always here for us.
He is always and will always be available to
remove us from our difficulties.
Jesus doesn’t want us to go looking at our
situations
Jesus doesn’t want us to lose focus on him
He doesn’t us to lose our concentration on him.
No matter the situation you find yourself, no
matter the circumstances you have been in lately if you have lost everything ,
I tell you, you still have Jesus
Great! Isn’t that wonderful
All you have to do is “look unto Him”
If He died for You and I
If He had come that we may have life and have it
in abundance what else do we need.
Let us look up to him.
Thank you Jesus for always being there for me.
