Prayer

“confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much”  NKJV James 5:16

The word of God is true.


The word says here in the second part of this verse “the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” amplified version puts it this way,

“confess to one another therefore your faults[your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins] and pray [also] for another… “the earnest[heartfelt, continued] prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous  power available[dynamic in its working].

What is prayer?

Prayer can be said to be a communion with God.

And in doing this we communicate our heart desires to Him.

Most Christians don’t spend quality time in prayer, they rush it.

Just say few words and that’s it.

But it is deeper than that. It is Communion with God.

Most Christians have low prayer life, while some do not even have one.

It says here that the effective, fervent , continual prayer of a righteous man avails much, the effective prayer of a righteous man brings things into existence.

When Paul and Silas were held in prison, they prayed and sang.
The prison doors opened and the chains holding them broke.

Elijah a man like us prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.

He prayed, and the bible Says He prayed earnestly.

He prayed with great effort, He prayed continually and got his result.

It  is now your turn to do the same.

What is that you want, what is that which you really desire, what is that goal you want to achieve, table it in prayer.

Get your prayer life back in place.

A Christian without a prayer life is like a battery which is dead.
