You are Destined to Reign

Romans 5:17
"For if by one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one, Jesus."


By one man many were made sinners
By one man many have been made righteous.
The sin nature was imputed to you , not because you committed sin but because Adam did.
I want you to understand this.
We were made sinners because of Adam, not because you committed sin. It was imputed automatically to us, and death followed.
This was not God’s wish for his Children, so by the obedience of one man, we are made righteous.
And they who have been made righteous have also received the abundance of Grace.
So we who have received the abundance of Grace and the gift of Righteousness shall reign in life by our Lord Jesus.

It says here clearly. We who have RECEIVED the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, and We normally think that God’s  blessings towards  us  is  based on our self efforts, based on our achievement.

We say is too good to be true, we ask questions like “how can God bless me without me doing anything”.
We always want to take credit for something. Even from God, some people want to justify themselves.
When Jesus died for us, did you work or ask for it.  NO you didn’t.
It is in our parent’s natural behavior to get us gifts. Yes they do, whether you deserve it or not.
They come back with surprises, and you jump and scream, Daddy I love

Now that’s same with God and in God you get better surprises.
We who have received the abundance of grace and gift of righteousness shall reign in life by Jesus.

You receive it to reign.

You don’t do anything to merit it.

Immediately you accepted Jesus as the Lord over your  life by believing He died for you and God raised Him from the dead, you became a partaker of the gift of righteousness and abundance of God’s Grace.
God wants you to reign in life.
God wants you to be in charge.

You are called by the lord to be a success, to enjoy wealth and to enjoy a life of victory. If you are a businessman, God wants you to have a prosperous business. If you are a student, God wants you to excel in all your examinations. If you are trusting the lord for  a new career, He wants you to have a position of influence, so that you can be a blessing and an asset to your organization.
This is not based on your works, nor achievements.

God wants us to stop trying to achieve, and to begin receiving the favor, blessings and healing that Jesus accomplished on the cross. When He hung on the cross some 2000 years ago, He cried with a loud voice “it is finished” everything that you and I require to reign in life was accomplished at Calvary on our behalf.

That’s why we call what Jesus did on the cross His “finished work”
He finished it. He completed it. It is DONE. The only thing that works is the finished work.

Stop doing what’s already done.
Stop doing and start receiving what Jesus has DONE.
The secret to reign in life is receiving everything that Jesus has accomplished for us on the cross.
