His Obedience
“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous”. Romans 5:19
One man’s disobedience many were made sinners, referring to Adam and Eve, our first parents.
We were made sinners not because we committed sin but we were conceived in it.
When Adam sinned, He died spiritually, he lost the ability to stand before God, he lost the ability to fellowship with God as he used to, he lost the ability to stand before God without sense of guilt and inferiority complex, he hid from God.
Became a coward and by so doing we inherited same thing from him.
This created a gap between us and God
We inherited the same nature from Adam.
For many years, we lived like this.
But that was not in God’s plan, God created us for fellowship ,He created us as children of love, to stand before him in love, with boldness and confidence.
”And so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous”
But someone came for us , someone came to our rescue .
Jesus the obedient one, Jesus the righteous one .
Took away our sinful nature and replaced it with his righteous nature.
“For he who knew no sin was made to be sin that we might become the righteousness of God in him”
Now we can stand in God’s presence without any sense of guilt.
We can come boldly unto his throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need.
When God looks at you, He sees Jesus in you.
We have Jesus and do you know what, He has invited us to come boldly now on our own unto God’s throne.
We need no high priest again to contact God on our behalf; we can now boldly approach our father and fellowship with him.
The work is finished
Glory .
Jesus has made us righteous.
We are the righteous ones
God bless you.
